The National Church Growth Research Center (NCGRC) is a Washington DC–based Christian ministry organization dedicated to helping churches evangelize, grow, and sustain healthy congregations across North America and beyond. Founded by Dr. Paul Benjamin, the NCGRC has served the broader Christian community for over four decades, providing research, resources, and personal encouragement to ministers and church leaders who labor in the often-difficult work of growing healthy, evangelistic congregations.

The NCGRC's primary mission is to create and distribute evangelistic resources — including books, study guides, audio materials, and ministry tools — that equip pastors, church planters, and lay leaders to reach the unchurched in their communities. The organization's flagship publication series, The Vision Splendid, is a six-volume collection addressing the minister's belief system, integrity, thinking, work habits, people skills, and physical health, all viewed through the lens of church growth.

Beyond publishing, the NCGRC operates several special ministry initiatives designed to support those serving in full-time ministry. The Safety Net program provides a network of encouragement for hurting and discouraged ministers and their families — recognizing that pastoral burnout and ministry hardship are real challenges that the broader church too often ignores. The Prayer Net connects Christians who are committed to intercessory prayer for preachers and church leaders across the country.

The NCGRC also reaches out to those who are actively seeking a relationship with Jesus Christ through its Seeker resources, offering study materials and personal follow-up to anyone curious about the Christian faith.

Today the Center is led by Letitia J. Benjamin, daughter of the founder, who serves as Center President and Safety Net Coordinator. Letitia holds a degree in Christian Education from Lincoln Christian University and brings decades of hands-on ministry experience to her leadership role.

Whether you are a pastor looking for practical church growth tools, a minister in need of encouragement, or someone exploring Christian faith for the first time, the NCGRC exists to serve you.
